Pietismo e filosofia da religião em Kant

Abstract

this work intends to analyze the religious movement which is called Pietism that comes from Germany after Reform and its influence in the Immanuel Kant s thought. The Pietism comes from historical and theological reasons of XVII Century, when Germany had a moral and religious crisis as a result of Religious Wars between Catholic and Protestant people. The Pietism tried to individualize and interiorize its religious practice that could become in a strong influence in the protestant moral of that period. The Pietistic Movement influenced German thought, because when it criticized the Lutheran Orthodoxy this fact gave the reasons to make the Aufklärung stronger German Iluminism that had a difference if it could be compared to the Iluminism in other countries, because the German Iluminism tried to understand in a deeper way the religion theme. In this context the Philosophical German thought had its development and Kant was the main representative. This work has a challenge, that is to say, to verify the contribution of Pietistic Movement in the Kant s philosophical thought considering his book The Religion in the reason Limits
