Fonoaudiologia e saúde mental: um campo em ampliação

Abstract

The initial objective of this work was to identify how language diagnosis has been carried out in Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPSi) from an interdisciplinary perspective. Since no articles on the chosen topic were found, it was necessary to change the search route. It was decided to carry out a narrative review of the literature, in which I focused on 3 aspects related to the work of the SpeechLanguage Pathologist in Mental Health, they are: (1) the role of the SpeechLanguage Pathologist in Mental Health devices; (2) the role of the speech therapist, as a member of a multidisciplinary team; and (3) what training is required. To forward this work, I clarify that my theoretical position is the one taken by the researchers of the Research Group Acquisition, Pathologies and Language Clinic, at PUC-SP, born and developed from Lier-DeVitto's original reflections about the speech therapy clinic and of symptomatic speeches. The group follows the path of the theorization of Language Acquisition, as proposed by De Lemos (1982, 1992, 2002) - who reinterprets European structuralism (Saussure, Jakobson and Benveniste) from the interpretation carried out by psychoanalysis in the Freudian direction. Such a perspective recognizes the order of language itself, that is, that language operates governed by laws of internal reference, which determine speech movements. Through the review, materials were found that, for the most part, showed incompatibility between the adoption of the biomedical paradigm of care and the SUS guidelines. None of the articles focused on the conception of language, subject and symptom and on the way in which such a conception would be articulated with the principles of the SUS. It is true that highlighting training in the Expanded Clinic, reflecting on the SUS guidelines is a necessary condition, but it is not sufficient to operate a shift that allows for a different reading of clinic, other than that arising from medicine, this requires taking a position in the face of language, define what symptomatic speech is and what is the role of the clinician in relation to it
